STEPHANIE GODWIN MA, LMFT

Stephanie Godwin, MA, LMFT is an owner of Aspera Therapy, LLC a group private practice specializing in the treatment of trauma from a holistic body based approach. She is certified in EMDR therapy and has extensive clinical experience working with the eating disorder spectrum.

An essential element in her work with clients is the belief that you are not your symptoms. All symptoms make sense when you are able to see the individual in context of their story. Trauma disrupts our body's ability to process through our experiences and we therefore can remain stuck in the past. The process of therapy allows for a corrective experience both with another person and ultimately with ourselves.
